About: 

Jen’s been knitting since 2004 and designing since 2008. She’s the author of the popular Sock-Yarn Shawls books and she’s self-published dozens of patterns on Ravelry. In 2014, after a decade of testing municipal wastewater for a living, she retired her lab coat and safety glasses to work in her design business full-time. When not knitting, you can find Jen crocheting, cross stitching, reading or trying new crock pot recipes she found online. She lives in Fox River Grove, Illinois with her husband, Alex.
